The Late Lynda Obst & Paula Weinstein Set For Producers Guild’s Trailblazer Award
The late producers Lynda Obst and Paula Weinstein will be honored posthumously with the 2025 PGA Trailblazer Award at the PGA Awards on February 8.
“Lynda Obst and Paula Weinstein have made a lasting impact on the industry with their trailblazing work and steadfast commitment to amplifying women’s voices,” Producers Guild of America presidents Stephanie Allain and Donald De Line said in a statement Friday. Weinstein, who died March 25, won a pair of Emmys for the HBO telefilms Too Big to Fail and Truman and nominated for Recount and Citizen Cohn. “Their visionary work includes iconic films that have defined eras, alongside their unwavering commitment to championing underrepresented stories,” Allain and De Line added.
