The Kid Laroi doc 'Kids Are Growing Up' has been set for a February 29 global launch on Prime Video.
Born Charlton Howard, The Kid Laroi went from an unknown musician living in Australia to a teenage global superstar selling out his hometown arena on back-to-back nights in just three years. The film captures a unique moment in time, as Laroi enters adulthood, navigating the pressures of rapid fame, struggles with his mental health, first love, and the tragic death of his mentor — the late rapper Juice WRLD. In a statement on the project, Laroi thanked “the incredible teams at OBB Pictures and Amazon MGM Studios for their support in sharing my story,” adding, “I can’t wait for audiences to see this behind-the-scenes portrayal of my journey, which perfectly encapsulates some of the most rewarding and challenging years of my life and career so far.”
