The Jetty has left some fans 'confused' as they didn't realise there were two timelines being shown on the BBC drama - with the past and present intertwining
One timeline is set in the present day and features Detective Ember Manning ( Jenna Coleman), while the other delves into the past of her late husband Malachy 'Mack' (Tom Glynn-Carney). The plot thickened when Ember stumbled upon a photo of Mack with Amy Knightley (Bo Bragason), a young girl who disappeared over ten years ago. Despite the confusion, one viewer managed to spot the difference, writing: "Enjoying the jetty to a certain extent, but is anyone else having trouble working out flashbacks to the present."
