Shooting began over the summer with an ensemble cast of actors familiar to French and German audiences including Maria Hofstätter ( Snow, Tatort), Steven Sowah ( Concordia), Katharina Schüttler ( Hello, Dogs of Berlin), Johannes Kienast ( Nymphomaniac) and Richard Sammel ( Spencer, The Strain).
