The Grammys Turned Into a ‘Not Like Us’ Sing-along

Unfortunately for Drake.

We already knew that the rapper was majorly pissed that Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us” implies that he likes minors, because he filed a lawsuit in January accusing UMG of supporting a song that “falsely accuses [him] of being a pedophile.” We can only hope that someone on his team had the foresight to tell him not to tune into the 2025 Grammys, where an entire crowd of his peers happily sang, “Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A minorrr.” Celebrities like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift had plenty of opportunities to get on their feet and dance to “Not Like Us” at the awards ceremony, because the song that calls the Certified Lover Boy a “certified pedophile” won all five of the awards that it was nominated for: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video. Previously in their back-and-forth beef, Drake rapped, “Kendrick just opened his mouth / Someone go hand him a Grammy right now.” Well, it looks like the Recording Academy voters were happy to oblige. Next to her, 13-year-old Blue Ivy Carter appeared to be mouthing along to the lyric, “Say Drake, I hear you like ‘em young.”
