The end of Che Diaz? Non-binary star Sara Ramirez hints they have been AXED from And Just Like That due to staunch pro-Palestine stance - then slams the controversial character as 'performative'

Sara Ramirez, who plays Che Diaz in And Just Like That, on Tuesday hinted that they had been fired from the show - condemning 'blacklisting' of actors for calling for a Gaza ceasefire.

Ramirez, 48, a non-binary actor who plays Che Diaz, and who uses they/them pronouns, on Tuesday shared a series of posts on Instagram implying they will not return for the third season. Ramirez plays Che Diaz a comedian whose introduction and love affair with Sex and the City icon Miranda Hobbes divided fans. But Diaz struggles with how the Netflix producers want them to appear, and says they are reduced to 'just some phoney, sanitized, performative, cheesy, dad joke bulls**t version of what the non-binary experience is.'
