The Death Row Records gospel album 'Altar Call' is dedicated to Snoop Dogg's late mother, Beverly Tate.
Today, the legendary label released Altar Call, a 21-track project featuring celebrated singers such as Jamie Foxx, John P. Kee, and others. Just another chapter out of the Bible of Love.” Snoop Dogg executive produced the project and sought to blend gospel with R&B, hip-hop, and other genres. He once again enlisted his wide network to contribute to Altar Call, which includes Jamie Foxx covering Bill Withers’ “Grandma’s Hands,” as well as Death Row artists Charlie Breal and JANE HANDCOCK singing “Grace and Mercy”, and “Just Believe,” respectively.
