The Deals: HYBE Secures $21M for Gaming Business to Include Artist IP, Live Nation Makes a Move in Malta
HYBE's gaming business raised $21 million and more music industry deals, including Live Nation's investment in a top Malta concert promoter.
Live Nation acquired a stake in 356 Entertainment Group, a leading promoter in Malta’s festival and outdoor concert scene that operates the country’s largest club, Uno, which hosts more than 100 events a year. Through the deal, Merlin’s global membership will have access to Coda Music’s suite of social and discovery-driven features, allowing artists to engage with fan communities by sharing exclusive content and more. Secretly Distribution renewed its partnership with Sufjan Stevens ‘ Asthmatic Kitty Records, which has released works by Angelo De Augustine, My Brightest Diamond, Helado Negro, Linda Perhacs, Lily & Madeleine, Denison Witmer and others.
