As a clip of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce belting the lyrics to The Darkness ‘ “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” began to go viral, the rock band’s frontman Justin Hawkins took to TikTok to divulge his own experience with the pop star’s music. As Hawkins woke up to an outpouring of messages about Swift and Kelce singing his 2003 hit, he called the moment “heartwarming,” thanked the celebrity couple for the surprise, and said his daughter “can’t wait to tell her friends at school.” Swift, wearing a denim corset, matching shorts, and thigh-high, red boots, made waves Sept. 5 as she arrived at the Kansas City Chiefs ‘ season opener in support of her boyfriend Kelce.
