The curse of Love Island: As Jack Fincham appeals jail sentence, how fellow Islanders have fallen victim to pressures of fame after leaving behind the drama of the villa

While many stars have used their appearance on the show to obtain millions of social media followers and brand deals - some have been struck by tragedy after appearing on the show.

The hugely popular show has been under intense scrutiny over the years following the suicides of former contestants Sophie Gradon and Mike Thalassitis, as well as host Caroline Flack, prompting calls for producers to take more care of its stars.
