The Crow director behind 'cursed' '90s original slams controversial remake more than 30 years after lead actor Brandon Lee was shot and killed on set


The director behind the '90s cult classic film The Crow has slammed the film's controversial remake.

Australian filmmaker Alex Proyas took to social media this the week to share his candid thoughts on the movie, with one swipe taking aim at the film's poor box office performance. Going on to become a gothic superhero classic, The Crow tells the story of Eric Draven, a rock musician who is resurrected from the dead to seek vengeance against the gang who murdered him and his fiancée. Alex has also been sharing negative reviews of the film including one from YouTuber The Critical Drinker that was titled The Worst Movie Of The Year.
