If you happened to look at the stands behind home plate during Friday afternoon’s broadcast of Game 2 of the NLCS between the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers, you were treated to an unsettling sight. Ahead of the release of the original, they did the same thing during MLB games, prompting mass concern and confusion among fans before it became apparent that it was a publicity stunt. I’ve got to say, it’s a good way to get word of mouth out there about the movie.
