Last week Lauren Phillips and Jase Hawkins made the dramatic announcement that they will be launching a new breakfast show on Nova's 100 FM.
The industry blog reports that, in an unusual move, Ben, Liam and Belle will remain hosting the breakfast slot until Jase and Lauren have a start date. And now Media Week has revealed that the popular trio only learned they were losing their jobs just as Lauren and Jase were posing for a 'secret' photo shot in the Nova studio. A spokesperson for ARN confirmed to Daily Mail Australia the deal for the Sydney duo meant their work pals Jase Hawkins and Lauren Phillips were out of a job and their Melbourne breakfast show finished up in December.
