The Chase's Shaun Wallace breaks silence on rumours he's 'been sacked' from ITV show
Shaun Wallace, who fans will know as the Dark Destroyer on The Chase, has addressed speculation that he has been sacked from the popular ITV gameshow after not being seen
In a recent episode of The Hearing - A Legal Podcast, the 64 year old barrister and 2004 Mastermind champion explained that his occasional absences from the show are due to his commitments as a lawyer. In July, he gave fans a glimpse into his personal life by revealing that choosing not to have children was a "conscious" decision, shaped by his early career as a "young struggling barrister". Fast forward to 2022, Shaun showed his commitment to his profession by joining the barristers' strike, where legal professionals hit the streets demanding better pay.
