Mark Labbett has opened up about working on The Chase and revealed that the format of the show was originally different, but TV bosses made a last-minute change. Mark, 58, who is known as The Beast, appears on the ITV game show as a Chaser, alongside Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Jenny Ryan, Paul Sinha and Darragh Ennis. "The format was a lucky accident - originally they went up the ladder and then turned round, which was dull as dishwater, but they made a last-minute change, literally," he revealed.
