The Chainsmokers Party on With New Remix of Charli xcx’s ‘Party 4 U’

The Chainsmokers have released a remix of Charli xcx's 2020 "Party 4 U," with the edit following their April take on Chappell Roan's "Pink Pony Club."

Under the duo’s watch, the five-minute original gets pared way down to two minutes and 15 seconds, with the guys bumping up the BPM and weaving Charli’s voice through a kaleidoscopic production then adding a big, bass-heavy drop at the end. The new project is the second high-level edit from The Chainsmokers recently, with the guys dropping their take on Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” in April. Earlier this week, the pair — Alex Pall and Drew Taggart — also celebrated the 10-year anniversary of their era-defining track “Roses,” which was released on June 16, 2015, and topped out on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 2016, when it hit No.
