The Breakfast Club stars reunite after 40 years - and fans go wild

It was a total nostalgia-fest for fans of the 80s classic The Breakfast Club, as all five of its stars reunited for the first time - 40 years after that fateful day in Saturday detention

The stars, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy, Emilio Estevez, and Anthony Michael Hall, gathered at a pop culture event in Chicago on April 12, sending fans into a frenzy despite the cast's transformed appearances. The Breakfast Club, undoubtedly, played a significant role in launching the careers of its young stars, who became known as the "Brat Pack," a group of actors who defined and dominated the teen movie genre of the 80s. Anthony Michael Hall later joined the cast of US sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live and starred in films like Johnny Be Good in 1988 and Edward Scissorhands in 1990.
