The Block's Scott Cam reveals shock twist for this year's contestants in season premiere

Scott Cam has revealed this year's contestants on The Block will be doing it tough on Monday night's premiere.

One lucky couple managed to grab a spacious six-person shelter, while another ended up with a cramped two-person tent that barely allowed them to sit up inside. In a preview of scenes set to air later this week, WA carpenter Jesse has a meltdown in his tent on day two, feeling completely overwhelmed by the task ahead, while his fiancée Paige attempts to comfort him. Situated two-and-a-half hours from Melbourne, the site currently features nine homes, a communal pool, a BBQ pavilion, tennis court and a children's playground.
