The Block's original host Jamie Durie 'regrets' quitting TV renovation hit and wants to retake Scott Cam's role in future seasons
The Block's original presenter Jamie Durie is looking to take over the role from the show's current co-host Scott Cam, when he retires over the next few years.
On previous seasons, contestants start by building a bedroom in their homes, allowing them to have a space to stay in as they work on the rest of the house. Durie, 54, who presented the series' first two seasons from 2003 - 2004 , is said to miss co-hosting the hit show and is eager to give it another go once Scott Cam (pictured), 61, leaves Situated two-and-a-half hours from Melbourne, the site currently features nine homes, a communal pool, a BBQ pavilion, tennis court and a children's playground.
