The Block's newest contestants reveal why the 20th anniversary season on Phillip Island was the 'hardest' series to pull off: 'There was no sleep'

The Block: Island is set to premiere on Monday night as 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the popular Channel Nine renovation series.

Over in House 2, married couple Courtney and Grant, who hail from New South Wales, were constantly left bleary eyed as they had little time to catch up on sleep. It comes after a senior staffer on the long-running Channel Nine series broke his silence on the rumour that one team threw down their tools and left The Block. Fortunately, producers managed to secure sisters Maddy and Charlotte to replace the Blue Team at short notice, ensuring five couples will make it to the finale.
