The Block gets planning approval to film in scenic regional Victorian town of Daylesford ahead of 2024 season

The Block producers have been given the green light to film the upcoming season in the scenic regional Victorian town of Daylesford.

However, in December the application was finally approved by the Victorian Planning Minister to build five dwellings on a 2,000sqm block of land owned by Hygge Property. Daylesford is located 114km from Melbourne and its unique combination of natural beauty, historic charm, and vibrant local culture provides a stunning backdrop ideal for the reality show. The network initially secured sites on Raglan Street in the picturesque country town but were driven out by locals and delays in permit approvals, reported the Herald Sun.
