The Block 2024: Winners become instant millionaires as Adrian Portelli breaks his own record during nail-biting finale
The Block's 2024 winners were finally crowned on Sunday as the winning bid was revealed at the long-awaited Phillips Island auction.
Host Scott Cam declared the sisters the winner of the week during Sunday night's episode, and things exploded when team Kylie and Brad refused to clap. Recent Block season finales have essentially been a two-horse race, as Portelli and fellow multi-millionaire businessman Danny Wallis fought to out bid each other over several properties. Portelli's departure from The Block could spell and end to the record-breaking profits he has raked in for contestants, including 2023 winners Steph and Gian, who walked away with 1.65million from their sale and an additional $100,000 in prize money.
