The Bear fans call for a Wonka-themed episode after Jeremy Allen White was forced to deny he's the grandson of  lookalike actor Gene Wilder

Fans of The Bear have called on producers to make a Willy Wonka-themed episode after the shockingly bad immersive 'Willy's Chocolate Experience'.

The now notorious event took place in Edinburgh last month where attendees, including excitable little children, were promised 'a universe where your dreams come true' but were instead met with a sad grey room, half filled with plastic mushrooms and AI-generated posters. While it wouldn't be outside a world of pure imagination to see how the plotlines of Willy Wonka the maniacal candy maker and Carmy the troubled and hotheaded chef could crossover, the desire for a themed episode comes from fans who have been left shocked by Jeremy's resemblance to Gene Wilder. The Bear star Jeremy Allen White (left) has been forced to deny he's related to the late Oscar nominee, with fake articles circulating naming him as Gene Wilder's grandson (right in 1975)
