Kelsey Anderson joked that her dad, Mark Anderson, is trying to ‘process his newfound fame’ after appearing on The Bachelor during her hometown date.

In addition to raving over his good looks and sweet personality, fans also called for the Army veteran to be the next lead on The Golden Bachelor. While she admittedly wasn’t close with her dad as a child due to his busy work schedule, their relationship grew after Kelsey’s mom, Denise Anderson, died in 2018. Kelsey got emotional as she reunited with Mark on the ABC show and she was grateful when she got his stamp of approval to move forward with Joey.
