That's a rap! Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are credited for 'saving' Paris Olympics closing ceremony as the torch is passed to LA after French event is plagued by sound issues and dismissed as 'arty rubbish'

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have been credited for 'saving' the Paris Olympics closing ceremony which took place on Sunday night.

Snoop, 52, has been delighting Olympics lovers for the last week as a commentator and cultural ambassador - and fans loved his closing performance after he jetted back to his native California. Then Californian natives Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billie Eilish and Snoop offered a taste of what is to come at the 2028 Los Angeles Games as they performed to crowds at Venice Beach. The rock band then handed the stage to Eilish who delivered a sweet rendition of her new track Birds Of A Feather while dressed in an oversized T-shirt, shorts and baseball cap.
