Thai Star Sukollawat Kanarot Boards Sci-Fi Horror ‘There’s Something Wrong With the TV’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Thai horror sci-fi feature 'There's Something Wrong With the TV' has cast Sukollawat Kanarot in the lead role.

Directed by a trio of filmmakers — Lertsiri Boonmee, Vutichai Wongnophadol (“SLR”) and Sathanapong Limwongthong (“Chef’s Table”) — the supernatural thriller follows teenager Kla and his best friend who discover a mysterious antique television set hidden under the stairs. Kla recruits his father Krit (Kanarot) to help rescue the children from the mysterious world within the television, unaware of the truly wicked nature of the device. The company’s other productions, “Death Dial” and “Night Shift,” which launched at AFM and the Cannes market last year, have secured distribution in multiple territories and are scheduled for release later this year.
