TF1 Group boss Rodolphe Belmer discussed the company’s digital strategy and plan to roll out its AVOD service in Africa, and its partnerships with streamers such as Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ to finance shows during a keynote at Series Mania ‘s Forum on Thursday. Another anticipated series jointly financed by TF1 and a streamer is “Tout pour la lumiere,” Netflix’s first daily soap that’s set at a dance academy. The ambition for the group, Belmer said, is to be the service that is “culturally the most relevant in our reference market and capable of bringing the highest production budgets to the producers who work with us.
