The age-defying presenter, who is married to Radio 2 DJ Vernon Kay and with whom she shares teen daughters Phoebe, 19, and Amber, 15, had to deal with a heartbreaking goodbye, when her eldest fled the nest to start university, were she is studying film and television. As much as Tess loves seeing them grow up into beautiful young women, it breaks her heart that they’re no longer little girls and nothing will be the same again.. Everything has changed and sometimes she wishes she could turn back time as she is worried about losing them.”
