Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Waitrose change at till 'in days' for customers


Four supermarkets will take part in the Let's Make A Meal Of It campaign, which encourages customers to take action when they pay

Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Waitrose will participate in the Let's Make A Meal Of It campaign, which encourages shoppers to donate to the charity FareShare either online or by rounding up their bills at the till. This includes transforming veggie scraps into soups, parceling out extra pasta sauce into hefty bags for community larders, and turning leftover flour and sugar into delicious biscuits. Matthew Barnes, Tesco's UK big boss, couldn't contain his enthusiasm: "We are excited to support the Let's Make A Meal Of It campaign and strengthen our partnership with FareShare.
