Tesco apologises as it confirms fridge staple has been axed from all stores

Tesco issued an apology to shoppers as it confirmed that it has discontinued a popular fridge staple across all of its supermarket stores in the UK

Shoppers started wondering about the whereabouts of the missing item and voiced their queries on social media, leading one X user to pose the question: "Can I ask @Tesco why you don't sell the six pints of milk anymore? A spokesperson said: "We phased out six-pint bottles of milk back in 2023 to reduce wastage, as there were higher levels of waste on that product size." Other customers expressed their confusion on social media, struggling to find the weekly staple in their local stores.
