In a recent interview, the 59-year-old conservationist shared why she’ll never date again, 18 years after husband Steve Irwin died in September 2006. Steve died in September 2006 at the age of 44 after he was pierced in the chest by a short-tail stingray barb while filming his show The Crocodile Hunter in the Great Barrier Reef. Terri also said that if Steve was still alive, he would be “very proud” of the work she and their children have done in his honor, saying it had been a “big dream” of his to keep conservation efforts going.
