The Book of Boba Fett, a series based on on of the franchise’s most beloved characters played by fan-favorite actor Temuera Morrison seemed like a layup for the streaming service. Until then, the franchise seemed like a golden child for the service, but due to a mix of confusing story decisions, it was all but certain the show wouldn’t come back for a season 2. During a recent appearance at Sydney Supernova 2024, Morrison revealed that both him and Ming-Na Wen have been pushing hard for a season 2, but it seems the powers that run Star Wars aren’t taking the bait.
