Tems Self-Directs Her Karaoke Party in ‘Love Me JeJe’ Video
Tems has shared the music video for her latest single 'Love Me Jeje,' set to appear on her forthcoming debut studio album 'Born in the Wild.'
Tems is her own director and go-to karaoke artist in the music video for her latest single, “Love Me Jeje.” The record, which interpolates Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 Nigerian hit of the same name, is set to appear on the musician’s highly-anticipated debut album Born in the Wild. Sodimu appears in the “Love Me Jeje” visual, which pays homage to Tems’ hometown of Lagos, Nigeria. As a director, she highlights the architecture and culture of Lagos, capturing sweaty bodies dancing through the night in tandem with families sharing laughs while braiding hair and riding through the street.
