The limited series, which will be produced by Knox, will be “based on the true story of how Knox was wrongfully convicted for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher, and her 16-year odyssey to set herself truly free.” If you don’t know the story, Knox and her then boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, were arrested after Meredith was found murdered in their apartment. They were eventually exonerated in 2015 by Italy’s Supreme Court of Cassation.
