TelevisaUnivision’s ViX To Launch In Spain Through Atresplayer
TelevisaUnivision streamer ViX will launch in Spain through Atresmedia's Atresplayer.
ViX filmed the likes of comedy drama series Los Artistas in Spain and has worked with local Spanish talent including actresses María de Nati and Claudia Salas and showrunner Marc Cistaré in Las Pelotaris. Bardají added the addition of ViX would give his service access to “successful productions in the United States and Latin America,” and would “consolidate Atresmedia’s ongoing dynamic growth, not only in terms of subscribers, but also in users and hours of content.” ViX is currently available through all major mobile devices, connected TVs and the web in the U.S., Mexico and Spanish-speaking Latin America, while Atresmedia has been building out its offer in Spain over recent years with carriage agreements and partnerships.
