Teletubbies' iconic 'sun baby' welcomes first child with partner
Jess Smith, the original Teletubbies sun baby, has welcomed her first child with her partner, with fans quick to congratulate the new mum after she shared a sweet snap
The former child star, who is now in her late 20s, shared the happy news on her Instagram page, although she did not reveal the newborn's gender or name. Posting a snap of the newborn baby's tiny hand holding her finger, she simply penned the caption: "One whole week of you [red heart emoji]" In 2015, Jess took to Facebook to confirm that she is the sun baby in the show as she said: "I used to hide it, but after a lot of encouragement from my friends at university, I've gained the confidence to come out with it.
