Telekom Srbija Looks to Cross Borders, Push Boundaries While Setting Sights on Global Market
Leading Balkan telecommunications company Telekom Srbija is expanding its scope in an effort to become a key international player in prestige drama.
Having produced more than 200 titles in the past six years alone — including breakout hits like the gritty crime drama “South Wind” and the groundbreaking dystopian epic “The Will of the Son” — the company is ramping up its international collaborations and doubling down on its goal “to be a regional content leader with global relevance,” according to Martinović. Both series feature international casts and were filmed in several languages, reflecting the Serbian telecom’s growing ambition to expand beyond its borders while cementing its position as “a key driver of media industry growth in the Adria region,” according to Martinović. Next up for Telekom Srbija is a push to expand its streaming platform MOVE, which offers a blend of live and on-demand content, including sports, news, kids programing, and original series, films, podcasts and documentaries.
