The early 1990s are back, baby. Here is a game that doesn't just star that decade's favourite reptiles - it's also a conversion of a beat-'em-up title that was originally made for arcade cabinets.

The makers of Wrath of the Mutants have expanded this release with new levels and enemies, but I still managed to complete it in less time than it would take to make a bowl of turtle soup. Endless Ocean Luminous deposits the player– a faceless, wet-suited avatar – in the middle of the Veiled Sea You can then swim around performing dives with numerous online friends, which feels a bit like a form of group-meditation
