Teddi Mellencamp allegedly had a bombshell affair with her horse trainer, Simon Schroeder - and now his wife, Karli, has officially filed for divorce.

Nearly two months after the news of Teddi and Edwin's separation came to light as well as the affair scandal, with wife of Simon Schroeder has now taken the step to file for divorce, per documents obtained by Us Weekly. On November 2, she took to her main Instagram page and penned to her fans and followers, 'After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce.' Teddi added, 'Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest and vulnerable was the best path forward.'
