Ted Danson Reveals Whether or Not There Will Be a ‘Cheers’ Reboot in the Future: ‘Interesting’
Ted Danson revealed whether or not 'Cheers' will be rebooted with the show's original cast. He recently reunited with his former costars at the Emmy Awards.
“Well, you know it’s interesting … I’ve seen them recently, everybody, pretty much everybody,” Ted, 76, told Entertainment Tonight about a potential show revival on Wednesday, January 30. At the annual award ceremony, the Golden Globe winner was joined on stage by Kelsey Grammer, Rhea Perlman, John Ratzenberger and George Wendt. Ted, who played Sam Malone on the show, also previously reunited with his costars at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas, in June 2023.
