Team USA Committee to Appeal Decision to Reallocate Jordan Chiles' Medal

The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee plans to appeal the decision that stripped Jordan Chiles of her bronze medal

Following the Court of Arbitration of Sport’s controversial ruling against Jordan Chiles’ floor exercise routine, her fellow members of Team USA are standing in solidarity. “The inquiry into the difficulty value of Jordan Chiles’ floor exercise routine was filed in good faith and, we believed, in accordance with FIG rules to ensure accurate scoring,” a Saturday statement from USA Gymnastics read. Her fellow Team USA gymnasts — Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera — are all standing in her corner.
