Team GB's tattoos explained – from emotional Olympic nods to sweet tributes to partners
Team GB athletes have plenty of tattoos between them, with many getting inkings in tribute to the Olympics or their sport, including Adam Peaty, Freya Anderson and Tom Daley
On his back and shoulders, Dan – who lost his quarter final men's doubles match with Andy Murray – has tattoos of the Real Madrid badge, stadium and a player, with the Spanish word 'Orgullo', which means 'pride' in English. Tom has also revealed he plans to get a tattoo with fellow diver Noah Williams - who we won silver with at Paris 2024 - to mark their success. Team GB swimmer Freya Anderson has a number of tattoos, including the Olympic Rings inked on the back of her neck.
