Team GB 'snubbed' at Olympics opening ceremony after technical error in rain-lashed event


The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics was marred by a slight technical glitch as a jumbo screen cut out, meaning fans were unable to see Andy Murray and Team GB

However, those hoping to catch a glimpse of tennis ace Andy before his final competitive match, or any of his fellow Team GB stars, were left high and dry. The ceremony, which featured an array of dazzling performances from the likes of Lady Gaga and athletes sailing down the River Seine, was unfortunately marred by the unpredictable weather.
