Swift's new song imgonnagetyouback has sparked comparisons to Rodrigo's 2023 song Get Him Back!, with both using the same play on the phrase 'get him back' in their lyrics.
Taylor Swift is facing heat from Olivia Rodrigo fans after she dropped a song which contained similarities to one previously released by the Drivers License singer. 'Wait so Taylor made Olivia Rodrigo give her song writing credit on Deja Vu because it kinda sounded like Cruel Summer. The star had re-recorded a melody from Taylor's Cruel Summer, causing Rodrigo to later give both a co-writing credit as well as royalties to Swift.
