Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is projected to boost Singapore economy by over $225M with her string of six sold-out concerts in the city-state alone


After performing six concerts in Singapore and wrapping the Asian leg of her world tour, the 34-year-old singer will add $225 million to $300 million to the city-state's economy.

Her performances will carry benefits to Singapore's hospitality, food and beverage as well as retail activities, according to DBS Bank Ltd. economist Han Teng Chua per a report by Bloomberg published on Thursday. 'These would be mainly supported by higher foreign tourist spending,' Chua told the outlet, adding that the city-state's economy would be impacted by 'a large number of oversees fans attending the Singapore concerts'.
