Taylor Swift’s ‘Poets’ Tops Album Chart for a 15th Week, as Chappell Roan Reaches a New High of No. 2
Chappell Roan's 'Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess' hit a new high of No. 2 on the Billboard album chart. Taylor Swift has a 15th week at No. 1.
Chappell Roan ‘s “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” continues its run as one of the pop phenomena of the year, reaching a new high of No. As has been her custom, Swift did release a digital variant of “Tortured Poets” during the week, which contained a live medley of “The Prophecy” and “Long Story Short” recorded at a Lyon show, available for just a few hours on Sunday. However, Billboard pointed out that even if she hadn’t released that, as her total digital album sales for the week only amounted to about 10,000, meaning the new variant wasn’t a critical factor this time in her ongoing charttopping status.
