Taylor Swift Surprises Crowd by Calling Sabrina Carpenter for an Unexpected Performance
Taylor Swift gave her friend Sabrina Carpenter a call in the middle of her Eras concert in NOLA and fans went wild when the ‘Taste’ singer stepped on stage.
“I think tonight I’m going to do something completely different, which is that I’m going to sing a song that’s not mine, but it’s somebody that I really love,” Taylor, 34, told the crowd of 65,000 in Caesars Superdome on October 26 as she began strumming a few lines from “Espresso,” one of Sabrina’s hits. The “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” artist handed her cell phone off and Sabrina strutted on stage in her signature white babydoll-style dress. The former Girl Meets World star was the opening act for Taylor’s shows in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Australia and Singapore.
