Taylor Swift Snags Janelle Monáe’s Performance Jacket at the 2025 Grammys & Wears It: Watch
Taylor Swift wore Janelle Monae's performance jacket at the Grammys. See the moment she put it on.
During the show’s sprawling Quincy Jones tribute, which the “We Are Young” singer closed with a phenomenal performance of Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough” in head-to-toe King of Pop gear, Monáe at one point shed her sequin-trimmed blazer while dancing on a table and threw it into the crowd. In pictures from the evening, the Eras Tour headliner continues to wear the jacket while raising a toast to Kendrick Lamar after his record of the year win for Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper “Not Like Us” and whispering something into best new artist winner Chappell Roan’s ear. Narrated by Will Smith with Herbie Hancock and Jacob Collier on the keys, the showcase also featured Cynthia Erivo belting out “Fly Me to the Moon,” Lainey Wilson singing “Let the Good Times Roll” and Stevie Wonder playing harmonica before leading the crowd in a round of “We Are the World.”
