Taylor Swift Resumes the Eras Tour in Tokyo With ‘Dear Reader’ Live Debut
Taylor Swift performed 'Dead Reader' from 'Midnights' live for the first time at the first Tokyo concert on the Eras tour as a a surprise song.
The Eras tour is back in full swing, which means Swifties have also resumed tracking which of Taylor Swift ‘s deep cuts have made it into the surprise song segment of the three-hour-long show. At her first show back, at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, the singer launched into the live debut of “Dear Reader,” a deep cut from the deluxe edition of Midnights. Swift will perform three more shows in Tokyo before jetting off to Australia later this month — after, of course, she stops in Las Vegas this weekend for the Super Bowl as an honorary Kansas City Chiefs member.
