Taylor Swift Remembers 9/11 At The MTV VMAs: “That Is The Most Important Thing About Today”
Taylor Swift won the night's first award during the main telecast of the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards and remembered 9/11.
During her acceptance speech for Best Collaboration, Swift took the opportunity to remember the victims of the tragic event. “I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.” Swift noted that she had done her research and “made my choice,” ending her statement by reminding her followers to register to vote.
